Two of them share a building in Vejalpur. Going to the wrong one is the most common way an appointment here goes wrong, so this is the plainest version we can write.

Some of our regulars came here as children.

Ami and Anil Parekh opened a single salon in west Ahmedabad in 2002. Twenty-four years later there are four rooms and an academy, and a fair number of the people in the chairs were first brought in by a parent.

That is the whole asset, and it is not one you can buy. It is also why the two things this site fixes are the two things that were quietly eroding it: nobody could find out what anything cost, and nobody could tell the four rooms apart.

Every rate is published here. Every service says what is included and what is not. If a wash is extra, it says so next to the price rather than at the counter.

Cutting is the work all four rooms share. The tier decides who holds the scissors, not what you get — a Basic cut is the same cut, finished by someone earlier in their training.

The academy

The people cutting your hair were certified next door.

The Vejalpur building runs a working salon floor and a training academy in the same premises. Students are taught on the floor they will eventually work, which is why a Basic-tier cut here is a supervised cut rather than an inexperienced one.

The four rooms do not keep the same hours — Vasna runs to 9:30 pm, the Vejalpur men’s floor from 8 am. Each room’s own times are below. Colour, keratin and bridal are booked ahead; cuts and grooming usually take walk-ins.
